“You Tell Me Your Dream and I’ll Tell You Mine!”

First sung in 1899 by Miss Etta Butler, this fun song was written by Charles N. Daniels (aka Neil Moret), Albert H. Brown and Seymour Rice; and underwent a “re-working” in 1928 by Charles N. Daniels and Gus Kahn.

It is performed here in the 21st Century at “The Spotted Cat Music Club” (623 Frenchmen Street, New Orleans, La.) by Marla Dixon (vocals/trumpet), Ewan Bleach (clarinet/vocals), Christopher Johnson (tenor sax), Justin Peake (drums), John Dixon (banjo) Robert Snow (upright bass), and Ben Polcer (piano/vocals/trumpet)
